Dare to Compare: Vick's VapoRub vs. Organic Ah-Choo Chest Rub

Written by Tela Kayne

Natural and conventional remedies for  colds and flu are most sought out during the winter months.  Since I opt for a more natural approach to health and wellness, I don’t use any of the over the counter cold and flu medications on the market. However, I still want relief for my little ones. Vick’s VapoRub has long been a popular choice for parents who want to ease cough and congestion or aid sleep.  Several years ago I discovered a more natural product that is as effective as Vick’s but without petrolatum, which has been banned in Europe due to it’s potential as a carcinogen.  Nature’s Baby Organic Ah-Choo! Chest Rub is available for purchase through Amazon if you’re ready to make the switch!  Here are the ingredients of each, if you dare to compare!

  1. Shani Ablicki

Parabens are a danger to your child’s future reproductive system. Especially in girls. Sounds like Vicks is safer.

  2. Just to clarify, a product is not 100% vegan if it contains beeswax.
