Sounds like a healthy dinner to me! My only comment is the apples – make sure they’re organic, they’re on the top 10 produce to buy organic by the Environmental Working Group. Conventional apple growers use a lot of chemicals to keep apples colorful and bug free. These chemicals are especially harmful to children.

I’ve received a sneak peak to the 2010 EWG’s Pesticide Shopper’s Guide & celery is the #1 produce to buy organic followed by peaches, strawberries & apples. You can have a sneak peak too! – Take a look http://www.foodnews.org/sneak/?utm_source=shopperreleaseb&utm_medium=email&utm_content=header&utm_campaign=foodnews

Thanks, Tela. That’s good to know, as we do eat a lot of apples and celery in our house. Hoping to find more organic fruits and veggies in our area with Summer coming.
