Yesterday it was announced that Baby Einstein DVDs are recalled due to claims that the videos are “educational” and that they are marketed to babies and children alike, despite American Academy of Pediatrics policy that television in any form is not recommended for babies under age 2.
Disney will refund up to 4 videos purchased between June 5, 2004 and September 4, 2009. You have several options with regard to the refund:
- One (1) Baby Einstein book of your choice
- One (1) Baby Einstein music CD of your choice
- One (1) coupon for 25% off the purchase of one Little Einsteins product. Redeemable with promotion code only at DisneyStore.com
- Refund of the current retail value of the DVD ($15.99)
